Congratulations to the 9-Hole and 18-Hole winners of the Club Championship!
The DEWGC Club Championship event offers many opportunities for players to shine. The Medalist prize for both 9 Hole and 18 Holes is awarded to the participants with the lowest gross score after the first round of play. Upon the completion of two days of play, there is a 9 and 18 hole winner, a runner-up and a net winner in each of three classes, A, B and C. Finally, the 9 and 18 Hole Overall Club Champions are crowned based on a combined two round low gross score.
During this event, participants play with golfers of a similar skill level as pairings are made by handicaps. In the first round, Class A tees off first, followed by Class B and then Class C. For the final round, starting times are reversed. Last but not least, the completion of Round Two is followed by announcements, hearty congratulations to all participants, and some good eats. Friendly competition at its very best!
